Hi all.
Well as has been usual I decided I’d post another windows roundup run about again in the weekend.
And as usual for this time of year in the ass end of the paciffic just off antartica and sandwidched between that and australia’s belly and in a house on the north of that location I your editor sits with his banana, coffee and steaming hot barbeque pork steam bun to just prattle on.
Windows 11 startmenu seems to be part of the push outs this week.
Edge passwords are added to the project pluss a bunch of other stuff us users have to wade through.
Passwords in brousers isn’t a good idea though googgle and its security could be ok who knows.
Anyway an interesting bug in the latest beta of windows has microsoft acknowledging that windows 11 is the new vista at least on boot up.
Thanks microsoft for acknowledging windows vista version 2.0.
Its certainly a reason windows 11 is so buggy.
Or is it windows vista melenium version with the new retro start menu
The biggest news is that nvda 2025 is on the way out and a bunch of addons are on relase as we push rc1.
So who knows when that goes.
If you moniter the other posts on my personal firefox and thunderbird are poisedon new releases of the 140 branch.
The klite codec pack is at 1901 and rising and adobe acrobat has had more updates than you can shake your stick at as well as dropbox and zoom etc.
Intel released official network drivers this week for those that follow them.
Tech wize there shouldn’t be any updates this week being mid month but who knows.
Personally things remain on track for my next maintenance schedual of myself and my next vacations and maybe some more work?
The blog comments are hit and miss.
It was ok then I had to approve myself then the last comment didn’t post but who knows.
Nothing is a miss in the general health system but a lot of spammers are commenting but being caught by the spam system.
Read my personal for the general day to day viewings outside tech.
