Light House San Francisco says no Enchanted Hills camp this year
Armando sent over an article talking about the decision by Enchanted Hills not to hold camp this year. Lots of decisions have been made not to hold gatherings this year because we don’t know when this order of staying at home will end.
The good news is that online meetings will be held for those who want to participate in such activities as they would have while at camp.
In 2017, I published on one of my blogs the fact that the community was pissed off about the fires, and that they couldn’t go to camp. I’m sure that this will be the case again this year, but 2017 was a natural disaster. That was the first time I’ve heard of the camp, but to be fair, I know that a vender puts on workshops there but that was all I knew.
I’m going to give you all the lighthouse post now which includes info about the Zoom meetings that will be taking place.
By taking a pause, Enchanted Hills Camp will help flatten the curve is the article. In retrospect, more work can be done to make sure that improvements can be made, to the camp as a whole when camp can reopen to campers and visitors.
