For those who have been in the business of using browsers as long as I have been, you’ll know that today is a very interesting Valentine’s Day.
According to the Krebs article which this post is based on, we must pass along the fact that IE (Internet Explorer) will be officially disabled with this release. There is no way that you can reverse this change.
With edge now the browser, powered by Chrome’s engine, you’re going to actually be better off if you don’t have any other browser on your system.
Microsoft also gives us three zero-days with CVE numbers attached and some exchange fixes as well.
To read all about this from Krebs on Security, head on over to the site and read Microsoft Patch Tuesday, February 2023 Edition.
I’m sure tomorrow we’ll get Kim Komando’s article and we’ll make sure that we blog it when we can.
The views of both articles are cool and it gives the public a chance to see different writing of it and one may cover something the other doesn’t.
As a side note, this Krebs article does talk about the fact that 16.3.1 is out which we blogged about earlier in the week. It fixes some web kit stuff and if my memory serves me, a zero-day as well. The article has complete details.
Thanks for reading and make it a great day!
See you next time.
