Earlier, we blogged about a bug in Keypass which luckily could only be used if the system was compromised already.
As I’m getting closer to getting caught up on Mastodon, I found an update post on 2.54 which fixes the vulnerability which was given a CVE which is linked within the updated article.
The article is titled KeePass Update Patches Vulnerability Exposing Master Password which talks about the release as well as a reminder of the vulnerability.
If you use Keypass, please update yourself to the latest version.
Again, it isn’t a big deal if you don’t have other malware or other things which could take advantage of this, but let’s not play with it.
