Google has little to fear by Bing outage

I am confident that I was uneffected by yesterday’s Bing outage, but it is very interesting to know that Bing had an issue yesterday.

I changed my search engine to Duck Duck Go, as it was on Google for the longest time.

But yesterday, I was not here, although i did have a few posts blog including the podcast.

Its interesting that most of the search engines are powered by the big ones, but it is not surprising, seeing that building spiders and the like may be difficult.

Back in the day, we had search engines like Altavista and Ask Jeves, a search engine that allowed you to ask questions. Now Google and others support this method of searching.
