National Public Data confirms breach

There’s an article posted on August 16th that indicates that this company is now confirming the breach.

According to the article, this breach happened in December 2023. The leaks took place in April and summer 2024.

We know that there are discrepancies in how much data was taken, and the fact that we have nothing really to do with them directly.

To make things worse, certain IP addresses are blocked from getting to the page that houses the information about the breach, but archive copies are available through archive.org’s web page linked within the article.

Have I been pwned indicates that there are over 130 thousand unique email addresses, but data is definitely mismatched.
