TSB has been calling for the fact that it was overdue for T-Mobile to have a breach.
This is not like us, in fact, I’d prefer that we had no more breaches, and that we wisen up.
Although this is actually sophistocated in nature because they aren’t sending email out to have someone click, this could be understandable and could fall under the sophistocated attack definition.
This breach, according to the article, did not affect customer data including billing. The actors are always looking for specific information from specific types of people who work in specific sectors.
They claimn that they have no evidence, but I bet that’ll change over time as the investigation continues.
So my question then becomes “What did they take?”
The article does not say.
>T-Mobile confirms it was hacked in recent wave of telecom breaches
The other 8 breaches are covered with links to stories where you can learn about them and its listed at the bottom in chronological order.
This makes this the 9th breach in 6 years, and either the second or third this year.
Keeping our eyes on this one!
