Well … it’s official; TikTok is banned

We knew this day was coming, and we talked about this potential issue.

Elon Musk tweeted recently that the ban was against free speech, but I don’t buy it.

It isn’t against free speech to have challenges that are posted to a platform that could potentially harm you or even kill you.

While I tried to focus on TikTok and challenges or stories on bans in this section, it’s interesting to note that at least for now, the application does not work even when using a VPN. One article indicated that you could in theory change your location using a VPN and use the app, but I guess this doesn’t work from what this article states.

Michael, who has participated on this program through the years, indicated that you can still get your data, and the article does confirm this.

If you search Tiktok on the blog, you’ll find tons of stuff we’ve covered that would make you think that this is the best decision.

The fact that there were mob attacks, various challenges, and flat out denial that the Chinese company did not have anything to do with taking users data like keyboard input, microphone use and other things reported through trusted sources just makes me wonder.

All I’ll say here is that we’ll just have to see how this goes, because it seems that from what I’m hearing, Trump is interested in the app.

TikTok shuts down in the US as Trump throws the company a lifeline is the article, and I’m sure we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears open for any updates on this.

In a way, I’m for it, but i question how it can be enforced. But it seems like they have figured it out, even with a VPN enabled.

The JRN has confirmed that when searching for TikTok, it does not appear.

The JRN does not have the app on any devices due to the fact that it can supposedly do things that have been talked about in articles from Kim Komando and others through the years.

We’ll be watching!
