Here’s a very interesting email received on 4/11 near 5 PM PT.
The subject of the email is: mensvis.com
it was sent to me at MENVI’s domain at the address I use at the domain.
The body follows:
Hi!
I thought you might be interested in owning domain name mensvis.com. Please let me know if that’s the case and I’ll get back to you with the details.
In any case, I wish you a nice day!

The domain itself looks like its a domain registrar, probably relatively new. Registrars ddo not come calling for domains to sell, people will inquire if they want a domain.
The domain that is being asked whether we want it at MENVI doesn’t make sense to me.
The Icann look up tool has tons of DNS servers assigned to it including several at a well known company recently in the business called Squarespace.
The domain statuses include: domain delete prohibited, Client hold and client transfer prohibited.
Two of the three are common and its mainly because it was recently registered or something within the domain has changed. But a client hold tells the registrar not to allow the domain to resolve.
The domain was initially baught in May of 24 and expires on May of 26. (2024 and 2026 respectively)
By rule, we can hide who owns the domain and that’s fine. That’s a choice we have.
The name servers are as follows:
- DNS1.P04.NSONE.NET
- DNS2.P04.NSONE.NET
- DNS3.P04.NSONE.NET
- DNS4.P04.NSONE.NET
- NS01.SQUARESPACEDNS.COM
- NS02.SQUARESPACEDNS.COM
- NS03.SQUARESPACEDNS.COM
- NS04.SQUARESPACEDNS.COM

The most I’ve seen when it comes to DNS servers are 4, although in a recent story, they had 5 or 6. But 8 DNS servers that go nowhere? I’m staying as far away from this domain as humanly possible.
Thanks for Emailing, Chris. on’t you wish you did your homework before emailing someone with an offer of a domain they first of all don’t want but then turns around and exposes the information that is public? Have fun with this one, my friend.
