In very interesting news, Bleeping Computer is reporting that a popular forum 4chan has been taken down as it has apparently been hacked and hacked good.
Apparently, a group that is known as Soyjak took responsibility and have been in their systems for at least a year.
Apparently, 4chan may have been running a version of PHP that was very outdated and full of holes that actors in general could take advantage of.
While admins took servers offline, unconfirmed reports indicate that the servers themselves are owned.
Whether the site works or errors out depend on location, as Cloudflare may throw errors or serve up some text.

As a side note, this message board system has been known to have stolen info posted to it, so this could be a blessing in disguise when it comes to our info being pilfered and sold.
