We’ve got some 23andMe news that might be of interest to everyoneWe’ve got some 23andMe news that might be of interest to everyone

While this is several days old, we’re finally getting to the news that I hinted about during TSB’s taping on the 19th which I found days earlier while looking for something else.

While 23andMe awaits the approval of the sale we talked about through this blog post in May, we are learning that 1.9 million people or 15 percent of people have asked for their data to be removed from the website.

The company whose scheduled to buy the company plans to use the data for research, while following the privacy practices of the former company.

Kim Komando, as well as others have mentioned that it may be a good idea for you to delete your data and Kim predicted the sale of the company before it even came out in May.

If you want info on how to delete your data on the service, How to delete your 23andMe data will be your article and 23andMe says 15% of customers asked to delete their genetic data since bankruptcy is the article that was first mentioned as part of this update.

To make things worse, we also found an article titled Anne Wojcicki’s nonprofit reaches deal to acquire 23andMe which could make this sale interesting.

All i’m going to say is that this is going to get very interesting.

I don’t know what else to say except that this is a big mess.

Have fun trying to make sense of all of this.

And finally, UK watchdog fines 23andMe over 2023 data breach is another article on this mess.

I really think based on this U.K. article, I think this company must solve their legal issues before any approval of TTAM (which stands for the initials of the company) or the new company talked about in May.

This is completely crazy. Sound off if you read these.
