Are you sighted? Don’t turn off this setting unless you need it

For those who are blind orrrrr need it, attention for face ID may be an issue, especially if you are sleepping. This is according to an article titled This hidden iPhone setting puts you at risk.

According to the article, this setting is off when voice over is on during initial setup and that is great for us disabled people, but someone then can unlock your phone with you sleeping.

I’m not sure what to think. While I agree that attention should be on, I’m wondering if IOS should be updated to ask if you have enough vision to look at the phone and decide based on your answer to turn off the setting or not?

Thanks komando for this, its definitely a very interesting thought and one worth exploring.
