This morning I was part of a webinar that delbt with a product called Jaws Inspect.
It is a product that is ran through TPGI’s services.
There was no pricing for the product, and I think this could be benificial for sighted developers who don’t have a concept of how a screen reader like Jaws.
Someone asked in the Q&A whether they should get it even though they use NVDA as the reader of choice for their agency. The answer was a yes, and testing with multiple readers is encouraged.
TPGI will be getting a recording to those who attended. If I can extract that, I hope to put it up. I also will peruse to see how much this costs, as again, they left it out of the presentation. I’ll mention it.
Not everyone’s questions were answered as it was only a 1 hour webinar, and it was interesting.
Tests include page layout, links, forms, heading navigation and one more. They indicated it has more tests it can run, but the five were a starting point.
I hope to have more on this soon!
