Clubhouse gets reinvented, apparently becomes inaccessible

Hello folks,

Clubdeck recently pushed updates within the last week. 3.0 of Clubhouse was its notations. The Verge has an article titled Clubhouse reinvents itself as an audio messaging app/ which talks about what they’ve done.

According to what I’m reading, it has become inaccessible for those using access technology.

While I’ve not used the app itself, this is a bit of a shock. Hey Clubhouse, we’re still out there. Maybe you should reconsider the accessibility of your app?

If this is the case, and people can’t access content like TSB as an example, the JRN won’t use it anymore and remove the app and clubdeck.

People should have a right on where they consume content, and I’m not sure what they’re thinking. I’ve been in the clubhouse rooms for their town halls, so I’m sure staff has read profiles to see who people are if they have the time to do so.

I’m here to pass it along, I guess we’ll see where it goes. Good luck contacting someone there, as when I sent a note, it either went unanswered, or took months to respond.
